TIP No. 49

Peepal is one of the most respected and sacred trees in Indian tradition. It is connected with deep spiritual energy, worship, meditation, and divine presence. That is why it is commonly seen near temples, sacred places, old spiritual sites, and places of collective worship. However, in Vastu practice, Peepal is generally not recommended inside a residential compound. A home needs calm, balanced, family-friendly energy. Peepal carries a very powerful spiritual vibration, which may feel too intense for ordinary domestic life. This is why our elders advised worshipping it respectfully from outside, rather than planting it close to the house. If a Peepal tree is already present near your home, do not cut it casually. It should be treated with respect. The best approach is to consult a knowledgeable Vastu expert or traditional priest before taking any step. The principle is simple: respect the sacred, but keep the home environment peaceful, stable, and suitable for family life.
