If you ask me for one simple but very important kitchen correction in Vastu, this is always near the top of the list: keep some separation between the sink and the stove. The reason is easy to understand. The stove represents fire, heat, action, and nourishment. The sink represents water, cooling, flow, and release. When these two are placed in direct contact, traditional Vastu treats it as a clash of opposite elements.
In practical life, this kind of imbalance is often linked with irritation in the home, small emotional friction, or money leaking away through repeated and avoidable expenses. That does not mean this one factor controls everything. It simply means the kitchen may begin to feel less settled than it should.
A simple correction is to maintain a gap of about 2 feet wherever possible. If the layout is fixed, keep the space between them clean and dry, avoid clutter, and use a wooden partition or neutral separator if needed.
This is a general Vastu tip. For complete guidance, the full house layout should always be studied together.
