TIP No. 17

Bedroom Door Directly Facing the Bed

One small bedroom arrangement can quietly affect how restful a room feels. In traditional Vastu, when the bed comes directly in line with the bedroom door, it is considered an uncomfortable energy condition because the sleeping body remains exposed to the strongest incoming movement of the room. In simple words, the body does not feel fully protected, and over time this may show up as disturbed sleep, mental restlessness, unpleasant dreams, fatigue, or a subtle lack of ease.
That is why, as a general Vastu principle, the bed should ideally not sit exactly in front of the door in a straight line. A better arrangement is to place the bed at a slight angle or at ninety degrees to the door, so the room feels calmer, more private, and more settled. Even a simple shift in placement can sometimes improve the emotional feel of the space.
This is a general Vastu tip for awareness, not a fear-based rule. Every room has its own layout, direction, proportions, and energy pattern. If changing the bed is difficult, SAPANDA can help assess practical remedies based on your actual bedroom plan.
